David served as the Executive Director from 1991-1996 at Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community and continues today in a part-time role as CEO overseeing all of the operations. David has been the lead in development of Mars Hill Retirement Community, as well as the development and consulting role at Blakey Hall an Assisted Living community in Elon College. Kyle Dilday
Kyle has worked in the long-term care industry since 1982. For 5 years, he was serving as a nursing home administrator in free-standing nursing communities. In 1987, he began his career in the continuing care retirement field with Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community. He has experience as a skilled nursing administrator, as well as Associate Director at Springmoor prior to becoming the Executive Director where he served from 1996-2008. Past experience in the management of skilled nursing communities, assisted living communities and continuing care communities allows Kyle to bring years of knowledge regarding management and operations in the area of long-term care and retirement to RLA. In his role as VP of Management/Operations, Kyle works with the Executive Directors/Administrators of the communities managed by RLA to assure continued superior quality services are provided to the residents they serve. David began his career as Special Assistant to the Secretary of the NC Department of Health and Human Services. Later he served as Director of Corporate Planning/Development for NRC Corporation, a 30+ community senior care management firm, before opening his own senior care development consulting practice. David was the Chairman of the Board of the SpringShire Continuing Care Retirement Community from 2004-2015. Rusty Mizelle
Rusty has served for more than 13 years as the Chief Financial Officer and Controller of a CCRC, first at Springmoor (11 years) and at SearStone (2 years). He has experienced retirement community management during all phases of development from start-up through maturity. Notable accomplishments include development of a 20-year capital improvement budget and reserve funding requirements for a 500,000-square foot, nearly 600 resident retirement community, as well as, leading the development of the financial team, systems, and processes for a unique, start-up CCRC. Angela Diamanti
Angela Diamanti joined Retirement Living Associates in June of 2003 and serves as Financial Administrator, HR Administrator and Property Manager. She manages the day-to-day accounting needs for the firm’s portfolio. She oversees all human resources functions, including 401k administration, benefits and payroll. Angela is responsible for property management functions of Class A Office and Medical properties in Raleigh. She is the primary liaison for tenants and oversees property management activity by working directly with property owners and tenants, and managing contractor and vendor services.
